Hi Everyone!
My name is Marc, and I'm a six-year resident of the District (and Southwest particularly). I'm new to the Drupal Community but eager to learn.
I've taken Chapter Three's "Intro to Site Building with D7" class (yesterday) and will be attending DrupalCamp this weekend. I have experience collaborating on two CMS migrations in the past (neither of which used Drupal, unfortunately, but at least one of which was complex). I have written and worked with CSS/HTML for many marketing emails. I can write and edit copy as well as being great on teams (coordinating with designers, PMs, editors, content owners, approvers, etc).
I'd love to find any opportunity that would allow me to help out a team while learning the ropes. You can do all the awesome stuff, while I'll do your less fun drupal stuff. I just want to learn and help out. I take direction really well and just want to be part of a team where I can learn.
Anybody know of any openings that would apply to someone with my background and skill set? If not, no worries. I just figured it couldn't hurt to post. I've seen the other postings on this site, but I'm not sure if ANYONE wants to hire someone with just a class and two migrations under his belt. That being said, if you know of anything, I'd love to hear about it!
