Washington, DC Drupalers

This group is for everyone living in the DC metro area who's interested in Drupal. You can post here about anything relating to DC and Drupal, whether that's local job postings, events, or just a call out to talk shop over beers.

You can also find us in a couple of other places:

We have a great meetup every month where we get together to connect in person. The target audience is Drupal developers, users, and people who want to learn more about Drupal. We start the meetups with a round of very focused lightning talks that discuss real world solutions to existing problems, new work people have done, and Drupal news. Some of these talks are about code, and some are not. We do ask that all presenters talk on a level that everyone - including non-developers - can follow. After the talks, we chat over beer, and maybe play a few games of foosball.

We're open to ways to improve the meetups and this group, so speak up if you have ideas!

Found this post from two years ago (https://groups.drupal.org/node/472018) but it isn't really what I am looking for.

Nov 8 DrupalDC at Canvas is canceled

Hey folks,

We had a number of people point out to us that our normal meet up fell on Election Day. While initially, we didn't think this was a problem, I now want to give everyone an opportunity to do their civic duty.

I'm sorry for any inconvenience this may cause and see you back in December.

Thanks,
Dave

Any Drupal firms or freelancers based in Prince George's County????

Hi
I am looking at an RFP for which I'd need a subcontractor based in Prince George's County. You can be an agency or freelancer operating just as an LLC or dba. The client need is to convert an existing site to an open source based platform. Reach out to me privately and we can discuss the details.
