Now hoping that my CFL peeps won't let me down (like those crickets over at Views group). I have tried this so many different ways, I am all turned around in my head, on it. Site is suppose to launch in a few days. Until this is sorted out, themers can't theme that page, either.
Anyone willing to spend a paid hour to help me sort it out? Will gladly throw in begging. (Probably very easy for someone with advanced Views experience, and who hasn't stared at this for way too long.)
USE CASE:
Developing a wiki site where info is orgazined by regions (og group) and countries (OG Taxonomy). The main dynamic page is to have the following tabs of data:
REGIONIONAL OVERVIEW [Group Node] COUNTRY FACTS [unique content type; 1 node] COUNTRY WIKIS [many unique content types; many nodes; exposed filter to select wiki type] COUNTRY DISCUSSIONS [forum; many nodes] MY PROFILE [user]
All these content types are group posts: Wikis = "wiki"; the others "standard"
I was hoping to create 1 page, with Views tabs (or QuickTabs), which would build each country's info page on the fly. The river of news is correctly pulling all group-related posts, but not when I apply an exposed filter for country. The project really feels as though it wants subgroups (for countries), and I like the added functionality that brings, but the Subgroups module is questionable. Plus, I googled a bit about subgroups and several posters discouraged its use.
As is: the country sections are not being populated -- blank. I have tried it as View tab pages, as QuickTabs views and as blocks. View export attached.
I have tried this so many different ways, I am all turned around in my head, on it. Site is suppose to launch in a couple days. Until this is sorted out, themers can't theme that page, either.
View attached. (Was trying to create it to build the dynamic views from URLs rather than exposed filter. But, I could theme the exposed filter -- as long as it can blend with the site design.) Maybe gives an idea what I am trying to accomplish.
