OK, school is back in session (next week), and so are the local Drupal meetings!

I'm mostly just looking to gauge interest at this point - location and topics of discussion are TBD. So please leave a comment - even a yes/no/maybe would be great - and of course, chime in with topic suggestions!

Hope you all enjoyed the summer - it sure went fast!

I'd like to attend. Topic-wise - I'm interested if anyone has had experience in interfacing with reporting tools or staging for reporting tools such as Jaspersoft, Quark, etc.

Location is still TBD - maybe Falconburgh's, the Embassy or Steamworks? I think they all have free wifi and a decent amount of space.

As always, I'm happy to talk or listen. Recently, I have:

  • installed Boost on a pretty simple site;
  • been migrating projects internally from svn to git;
  • upgraded a couple sites from D6 to D7 (one pretty simple and smooth; another which was much more difficult!);
  • been migrating content from other systems into WP and Drupal.

And I'd love to hear about,

  • how you're using Drupal;
  • performance benchmarking and tuning;
  • fun site ideas (i might have a couple in mind);
  • experiences using any Drupal distributions.

The Irish Embassy at 6pm

I think both Steamworks and Lady F's have pint nights on Thursdays, so they might be too crowded and loud for any discussion. I know the Irish Embassy has happy hour specials until 7, and $2 tacos on Thursdays, so that's my pick!

Come one, come all! I'll be there at 6pm, and I'll wear some sort of Drupal-related t-shirt. :-)

I'm not sure what happened but I didn't get any notifications about this. Sorry about that Benj! I'd be happy to chat about some of 9-Rs setup though. Maybe at the DDUG meeting.

I need to figure out why I'm not getting most notices for this group. Hmmn.
