CSS Aggregation

I've read about Omega's sophisticated caching, but I'm a bit confused about CSS aggregation.

My question is. Is it necessary to enable CSS aggregation when using Omega

omea does not aggregate the css files by itself, so afaik yes enable aggreagtion
