Sponsors?

What packages do we offer to sponsors?
And how do we price them?

I'd really appreciate additions/comments/input here

Gold xxxx SGD
- Name/branding of the main room
- Big logo on a printed banner
- Logo on any other collateral
- Exhibit space
- Speak for 3-5 mins

Silver xxxx SGD
- Name/branding of a smaller room
- Medium logo on a printed banner
- Logo on any other collateral
- Exhibit space

Bronze xxx SGD
- Logo on any other collateral

Multiple sponsors or just one for each?

are we looking at multiple sponsors in each category or just one sponsor for each of those? Maybe we can keep 1 Gold but look at 2-3 silver and 3-5 bronze?

If we can cover cost by sponsorship, the cost to visitors will be low.

I think it makes sense to have one gold sponsor,
several sponsor at tier 2 and i don't see any reason why we should limit
the number of bronze sponsors.

Cost to visitors is officially FREE, so we're taking on sponsors to raise funds for future
community events and if we want to deal with catering we might also choose to spend
sponsor funds on that. It all depends on how much money we can raise.

I'm wondering if there's any advise on the price tiers? Higher/lower?
Considering how little effort companies have to work to earn back the cost,
these random prices are actually quite low. Should we bump it up?

I don't think we should limit the number of sponsors to just one in the gold category. If you look at most conferences, they would have 3 or 4 sponsors for each category including the top category ie. gold, platinum, premier, etc.

Good point, then we can limit the number of gold and silver sponsors to 3 each and accept as many bronze as we can. Any other opinions on this?

For gold and silver I also suggest adding logo on the t-shirt.

Anything we can add to the list of perks to make it more appealing to be gold/silver/bronze sponsor?

Can all committee members chime in?

Can we send private messages on this forum? We should be careful with what we say publicly as there may be times when we don't want everybody listening in on a conversation. Especially if we're talking about a potential sponsor or vendor.

Do you have any suggestions for how to solve that?

We shouldn't post any names or company names in a public forum until it's
100% confirmed.

Though for the template for sponsorship agreements and any other formal documents that we want comments on (if we need something like that)
- maybe that's something we can share in the forum?

How about if we set up a google spreadsheet or a protected etherpad, and let one person
be in charge of who needs access to that document?
