Drupal 5 or Drupal 6? More and more modules are being ported to D6 - at what point do we make the jump? Personally, I'm going to stick with D5 for a little while longer.

Personally, I try to use D6
Personally, I try to use D6 when I can, but I have to start by figuring our what modules I need, and if they've been ported to D6. A lot of modules have been ported to D6 now, and some even have new features only available for the D6 version. Plus, I like admin UI much better for D6.
I take it on a case-by-case basis. Once Ubercart has a stable D6 version I may have a hard time finding reasons to go back to D5.
D6 all the way baby!!!
Just one .info file and a few stylesheets and you can create beautiful websites. Then again, I only really got on the drupal-train after v6 was released so I haven't toyed around that much in D5.
I fear I'll be stuck on D5
I fear I'll be stuck on D5 for a while. I've got a lot of fringe modules that are very slow to move to D6. Heck, I'm finally after 4 years finally able to switch one of my sites over from 4.x to 5! Some times you have to break down and re-write a module yourself...
That being said, there is alot I'd like to use in 6, even more in 7. The ability to consolidate search queries into one result list would make my life easier.
Dave?
Dave?
Migration can be sticky
Yes, it is tough when you're looking at migrating an existing site, since it can be a lot of work to switch existing functionality to a different module.
When you rewrite a module for a newer version of core, are you posting a patch (or at least your updated version) to the issue queue of the original module?
After trying D6
After trying D6 on a real site (not just a sandbox), I'm afraid I will only go back kicking and screaming. Especially since Ubercart works with D6 now :)
Oh god how did this get in here I am not good with computers
