Hello Calgary! Whatcha' Up To??

We encourage users to post events happening in the community to the community events group on https://www.drupal.org.

I just moved here from Kelowna. I joined the group before moving and have noticed that apart from employment listings and some training solicitations, there are currently only a few Drupal community type postings. People join and then nothing. What's that about?

Although I show up as slewazimuth, my name is Craig Bowman. I actually lived here for a time many many years ago. Last year I spent some time away from coding and software projects to be Director of Photography on a television pilot called "La Fontaine" which was entered in this years Banff World Media Festival. It won the "Best Drama" award and got me thinking again about Calgary. Below I've posted links to a few scenes.

Only local images are allowed. Only local images are allowed. Only local images are allowed.

Well that's about as non-drupal related as I think I've been but just wanted to have something else posted here to break things up a bit. I just finished upgrading some amf service material which I moved to the Services 3 approach in D7 (although using more RESTful style services under Services 3 did start in D6 as well from the old RPC style Services 2 approach).

So what's everyone up to? Anything interesting or groundbreaking?

As the sole site-building Drupaler in my organization, I have just finished rolling out my last Drupal 6 website over the summer.

It is my hope to move it to D7 next summer, but right now I am working on a mini "conference" website using some of the concepts from COD and integrating into our custom session/event handling piece.
