Hi all.

I'm new to this, and am not sure if I'm posting in the correct place.

I'm trying to implement multiple country ecommerce, and want to be able display prices in the local currency.

The transaction itself doesn't need to happen in the local currency, I just want customers to be able to see the price in their currency.

This also means being able to set the price for a product in a local currency. This will be OK in my case, because each product is only sold in a single country.

How does one go about this?

Thanks

Glenn

I am working towards being able to handle multiple currencies slowly. I really don't think that it will be supported in the next major realease of e-Commerce, but I have been laying the groundwork to allow this to happen in the future.

Unless someone is really keen for it to happen and sponsors the development it is not going to happen.

It is not that I don't want to do it, but it is a very large modification and it has wide ranging impacts on how e-Commerce works.

You need to do things like make sure that receipts of one currency are not allocated to receipts of another currency. And then there is all the accounting requirements, as well as being able to exchange money between currency.

It will happen, but not for a while.
