Possibly SEO. Google have started making use of Google+ within its search results showing who's +1'd results amongst people you follow and providing an identity to content authors. It's still early days for Google+, but it seems that Google are taking it very seriously and implementing it across their products.

Not sure how much it affects SEO as a whole, but I know that sites that users +1 show up higher in related search results for that particular user when they're signed into their google account.

According to me only one answered can be placed here and that is TRAFFIC.

Yes many users will show your site rank at higher in search engine when they +1 to your site so its more possibilities to have more clicks on that time :)

Google+ is new, but I am sure they will find ways to use it and so will developers and SEO people. I personally love google products and use them on almost every website I have ever made.
