Hi all. I hope everyone had a good holiday season. I was just checking on the meeting for next week. See if its still going on and if there are any conversations planned.
I don't have tto much time to put towards preparation, but I can do a small talk on any of these topics:
- Simple mapping and location (via MapShanty.com)
- A small overview of Views 2 and how to use the "crazy" interface correctly.
- Any other ideas.

Comments
WYSIWYG
I would like to hear discussion about the experiences people have had with different editors and how their client/customers have reacted. For example TinyMCE, FCKEditor, YUI, with or without the WYSIWYG API -and- Image uploading considerations
little experience
I don't have much experience in this realm and could not lead this discussion, but would love to hear about, and offer whatever input I can.

Interested in wide ranging mapping, but for Feb?
I'm interested in getting a better sense of the mapping scene in Drupal. Allie's been putting work into the geo module, and there are other projects integrating Google Maps, Yahoo! Maps, and open source/open content web mapping services. I could contribute more meaningfully in February, so I'll float that as a topic idea for next month.
Maybe mapping for Feb
I am not sure if I will be at Feb meeting, but we could have Drupal GIS as a topic for Feb?

Wednesday, January 28th TCDrupal Meeting topic: Views2?
Thanks for starting this thread - the TCDrupal meeting is just around the corner!
I think that a Views2 overview would be great, Alan. For those who have Drupal V5 and below, they can see what is around the corner. For those with Drupal V6, there are some nuances that would be good to learn. If anyone has some other ideas for this month's meeting, let us know by Monday. Otherwise, I suggest we go with the Views2 overview.
Meanwhile - let's talk about doing meetings on editors and geo/mapping Wednesday, at the meeting (BEFORE the pizza ;) ). They sound like fantastic topics, but might need a bit more coordination than we have time for right now.
Thanks!

I'd also be very interested
I'd also be very interested in a quick overview of Views2, and am quite excited to meet all of the Twin Cities Drupal people! Views2 is really complicated, you could easily talk about it for a while and still have more stuff to cover I think.
