Sprint

Hey everyone!

We're going to be spending some time working on the D7 upgrade and some bug fixes for the Payment API and related modules. We'll be upgrading the code, fixing bugs, and possibly working out some documentation and identifying next steps. You're welcome to show if you're interested in helping out, want to learn how to work on contributed Drupal modules, or just want to learn more about how it all works.

The Payment API is designed to function as a payment mechanism for just about any type of e-commerce transaction you'd want to complete using Drupal. It can function as a backend for simple transactions such as online donations or embedded in webforms, and someday it will also be great for simple signups and site registrations. We'd like it to work in harmony with solutions like Drupal Commerce and other cart solutions.

The Sprint will be all day Sunday at Advantage Labs HQ:

2104 Stevens Ave S
Minneapolis, MN 55404

We'll provide food and beverages for folks who show up, and we'll be thrilled to talk, code and share with folks of all skill levels.

This is all in preparation for another sprint. Next weekend we're heading to Boston to build some technology that aims to help with "paying for the plumbing". The result will likely be something like the Cedar Seeder, but in support of Drupal developers with great ideas who need funding to get there. After spending this weekend on getting the Payment API code up to par, we'll be ready to spend next weekend on other aspects of that project.

Oh darn! Would love to help and learn - sunday is already full with grandma things - 10year old overnight party saturday night and sunday, and birthday party brunch for 2 year old grandson Sunday - otherwise I would be there!

Sounds like it will be a valuable learning experience!

Sorry I missed it!
