What is Qi? Qi is creative potential, vibrant energy, positive mindset, .... and a lot of other things too.
So, how do we increase our Drupal Qi?
We learn about Drupal and cross-pollinate our skill sets and ideas - i.e. train each other up like kung-fu brothers and sisters so we all become good at what we do. Drupal gains more popularity locally, we all get more work, our projects gain steam, our sites look and function better, we contribute code/modules/themes, we have successful drupal companies/teams, etc. Its an "open source tool" - open source, or free software, thrives in environments where we're not holding back our ideas because we want to trademark them and make big dollars.
What is the measure of success of a Drupal Qi meetup? That we learn, share ideas, moderate ourselves to respectful conduct and interaction, leave feeling open minded with more creativity...
This meetup - we can meet each other, get to know each other, and share whatever we'd like. Future meetups, we can have topics / presenters and "school" each other....
