Extreme Makeover recap

Events happening in the community are now at Drupal community events on www.drupal.org.

So we had the Drupal Extreme Makeover a couple of weekends ago. We'll be hosting a follow-up DrupalMentor session for these new users to learn more about managing their sites. In the meantime, below are some notes I took on what we accomplished (I'm not linking to the sites because the new ones are done, and the old ones - well, they didn't like them anyway, right?)

Thanks to: SF Nonprofit Tech Center (and Heather); Michael McCarthy, John Lorance and CompuMentor, John Kenyon, David G and CivicSpace on Demand, the California Consumer Protection Foundation (who funded this); the Makeover Artists (Mark, Jason, Neil and Courtney) and the nonprofit staffers themselves - and anyone else we forgot. :-)

We'll be posting some more follow-up notes about what we learned doing this - and I'll be posting my curriculum notes in the curriculum group.

Here's what we got done in the weekend, and what's left to get the site up and running.... (The Makeover Artists are still helping with these sites.
