How do I increase the number of What's Happening in Commons?

Events happening in the community are now at Drupal community events on www.drupal.org.

Hi there,

I just installed commons and would like to know how I could display more than 3 groups under the What's Happening section on the home page. I have about 10 that I would like to show.

A bit obscure but

Go to http://your_website/?q=admin/build/views/edit/homepage_group_showcase -- you can also access this through Administer >> Site Building >> Views (then look for the box name and click Edit)

Look in the box marked Basic

Find "Items to Display"

Click on the current number.

Look underneath the box. Change the number in "Defaults: Items to display"

Click Update
Click Save

That should do it - it did for me.

Now, how do I sort it by name?
