Venue Change, RealDecoy has been kindly hosting this event for the last few sessions, but Wirespeak offered up their office in the ByWard Market (78 George St, Suite 2) and in May the weather might be nice to head out to a patio afterward.

The theme for this meetup will be Install Profiles. There are some guidelines for writing Install Profiles in the Handbook. Steve from Wirespeak volunteered to talk about his experience using them. There were a number of interesting presentations (video link at bottom) that touched on alternatives to Install Profiles at DrupalCon.

Proposed Location Change
Hey folks, Steve proposed that for this month the "meeting be at the Wirespeak office in the ByWard Market. Weather should be quite nice by then and patios will be open, giving us plenty of après-Drupal options. We're across from the TV station, above what used to be Oregano's Restaurant. If people are up for the change of venue I'll provide further details."
I've been to the Wirespeak office a while back, but wanted to check that you're still proposing holding a pre-pub meeting with a board room of some sort and internet access to work about.
Having it at the same place has some advantages, but Katherine's also suggested that she could have space if we wanted to do video conferencing at some time, so there are good reasons to move about.
I'm also thinking that I could host a BBQ in June if folks would be into that (and could provide space for a more serious discussion before then).

Quick reminder: Monday's Drupal Meetup is at new venue
Just wanted to send out a quick reminder that the Drupal Ottawa meetup is this Monday (May 11) at 5:30.

There's been some talk of finding a patio afterward if the weather looks good (which it does!).
