Eye Tracking / Usability - Tobii

Hi Everyone

I'm currently looking into the possibility of organising a Tobii eye tracking usability full day training session. (See http://www.tobii.com/en/eye-tracking-research/global/ for information in regard to Tobii and eye tracking in general for those of you that may not be aware of the system).

The sessions are quite expensive (basically £1,000 ex vat all-in for the full day) so I'm looking to share the cost with those that might also be interested in learning how to setup and use eye tracking in their development process (it's a great additional service to provide to clients). I think we could only really justify a maximum of 6 people to ensure a good session (2 places are already taken including myself) so if anyone thinks they may be interested or would like more information please feel free to contact me. Basically, if we can get a full six people we'll be looking at about £175 ex vat per person and this would include food & beverages for the day aswell.

The venue will likely be Lichfield, Staffordshire.

Once trained and for those that would like to use the technology on client projects, tobii offer very agreeable/flexible rentals of their equipment
on a day, week or month basis (you wouldn't want to buy one as I think they start at about £25k!) which means you can easily incorporate this offering into your existing services. Failing that, you've also got another string to your bow as a potential eye-tracking consultant.
