If one visits this page, one can see that Michelle has added [Comment incorporated] to many of the comments in order to incorporate comments into her "Contrib modules version 5.x status" table.
I'd like to basically do the same thing and add [Comment incorporated] to comments that maintainers and developers add to Reverse Bounty Status of Projects Needing Financing in order to keep my table on that page updated. For example, I want to add [Comment incorporated] to the bottom of Classified Ads status. How do I do this? Thanks in advance!

need editor perms
comments don't have flexible access control like nodes so this isn't possible without editor perms. i just gavce them to you.
Thanks Moshe!
I was able to make my first update at the bottom where I added [Comment incorporated 12/19/06 by Wellness Corps].
However, I noticed that I now have editor permissions (delete, edit, reply) for ALL comments on ALL groups whether or not I'm a member of them. For example, I looked at postings on the Chicago group and the Denmark group and I see "delete, edit, reply" for all the comments as well as "view, edit, outline" for the main postings at the top of each story and "view, edit, outline, revisions, categories, email" at the top of each group.
So thanks for trusting me with editor permissions on g.d.o but isn't there some way to only give editor permissions to certain people, e.g. a group's owner plus a few trusted individuals that belong to that specific group? I just don't think people like me should have editor permissions for ALL groups (especially when not a member) and for ALL those groups' individual stories. Should I submit a feature request for increased editor permission controls?

no way
again, what you describe is not possible ... a feature request would be against core, and it would be for a flexible access control system like nodes. in fact, the sanest way to get that is to turn comments into nodes and there is a bit of underground activity to do just that.
og user roles?
If my understanding is correct, this is currently possible for group owners only by using the og user roles module. I've opened a feature request against the module to see if this could be extended to allow admins to a group a special user role (which of course would only be in the context of that group).
