May Happy Hour

We had lots of fun last week, so I think we'll make this Happy Hour a regular thing and see how it goes. I am designating the First Thursday of each Month. And for lack of creativity, I think I'll just say the Bedlam for now.

Thanks for organizing this. Unfortunately, Thursdays are perennially bad for me, but I'll keep the dates in mind for those times when my normal Thursday gig doesn't happen.

Hey Gabe,

I didn't really crowd-source this time. I am very open to taking a poll/survey to see what is everyone's best day. Of course, there is not going to be a day that everyone can come, but a majority vote would be good.

Perhaps make the poll a "bad day" poll? My guess is folks like Gabe (sorry to be speaking for you), don't have much of a preference about the other 6 days of the week, but can't make it on just that day, so that's more informative.

It's risky territory getting into the crowdsourcing of meetup schedules, since you'll inevitably leave someone out; but a blacklist poll might be a fair way to handle it.

Allie nailed it right on the head for me - Any other day is good. As she suggested, I think a "Bad Day" poll would work best, and we can just look for any significant spikes or troughs for guidance.
