Backup files directory to S3

Thought someone in Vancouver must have implemented this before...

I need a tool to sync a copy of Drupal's files directory with S3. Backup and Migrate seems to allow me to save regular copies of my database to S3 (though I haven't tested it yet) . Is there a similar tool for files? In this case, I'd like to just keep the latest snapshot, similar to rsync.

creeper.module might be half way

hey Dave

http://drupal.org/project/creeper - looks promising, you might just need to write some helper code
I haven't actually played w this tho

I'd like an easy solution here, too

I'd like something like this:

  1. Upload files, stored in files directory.
  2. Serve from files dir until file is copied to S3.
  3. Serve from S3

If you wont to backup, use :
http://drupal.org/project/snapshot
If you wont to put file on S3, use s3fs and patch your template to serve it directly from S3.

Thanks!

I knew there was a solution out there. Well, actually, that module is so new, last week there wasn't! I'll give what you've suggested a whirl. Thanks again!
