If you work with Drupal in a non-profit/social change setting, are based in the San Francisco Bay Area, and are planning to attend the 2009 Nonprofit Technology Conference this month, I'd like to invite you to the "Drupal For Good - San Francisco Bay Area" session that I'll be leading on Sunday afternoon. This should be a fun opportunity to find out what's cooking in the local non-profit Drupal scene and meet our fellow Bay Area Drupal do-gooders face-to-face. Read on for details...

2009 Nonprofit Technology Conference - registration required at http://www.nten.org/ntc
San Francisco Hilton, Franciscan B meeting room
Session details: http://tinyurl.com/cnjs3x
Description:
An informal gathering of Drupal developers and users based in the Bay Area who use Drupal in a nonprofit/social change setting. We'll discuss local resources for learning Drupal; share our latest Drupal endeavors; and hopefully set the stage for future collaboration and get-togethers. This is for Drupallers of all experience levels - newbies to veterans.
Takeaways:
- Find out about Bay Area user groups and other local resources for learning Drupal
- Map out the players in the Bay Area Drupal scene: Who's working with Drupal? What are you doing with it? What help can you give? What help do you need?
- Brainstorm your Drupal problems/solutions with other session participants
Please pass the word around about this session, and I hope to see you there!

Now you can participate virtually (and for free)!
I've heard from several people who are unable to attend the "Drupal For Good - San Francisco Bay Area" session at NTC, but who are still interested in the topic. If you're in this boat, I'd like to invite you to participate virtually. Here's how:
At the meeting, we will do a brainstorming session to identify the people, organizations, and resources that make up the local Drupal-for-nonprofits scene. The results will be compiled into a document and posted on the web. Even if you can't join us for the session, you can still be represented and contribute to the brainstorming effort. Just fill out the information below (as much or little as you wish) and send it to me by Thursday, April 30.
I'll make sure that your answers get included in the session write-up, and will also send out the link to the session notes, once they're ready.
I'm looking forward to meeting and talking Drupal with everybody, in person or otherwise!
