I am using location and gmap in D6. I can already users in a view or on a map.
I would like show users within X distance of a location stored in a page of a specific content type (I'm calling it "location page".
So, if I had a page for Boston, I could store a location for Boston on that page and would like that page to show a list of users within 10 miles of that location.
I realize this is not as flexible as other possible approaches, but I want specific pages for a small number of cities/towns.
I'm guessing that if this is possible with off the shelf modules, it might involve views attach. Is that correct? Can I link a place page to a view of users without customized code? If so, can someone please point me in the right direction?
Also, my site is based on Drupal Commons, so I am using profile rather than profile content.
