User group meeting

I have scheduled the TLC lab at the District Office for Wednesday, April 18th at 5pm. We can have food and drinks but no alcohol. There are computers and a projector available.

It sounds like we can continue to use the TLC lab on the 3rd Wednesday of each month unless there is a district function happening.

Let me know if you have questions or need directions.

see you Wednesday!

Just a reminder that our Durango Drupal meeting is this Wednesday at 5pm (at the 9R Learning Lab).

Should we bring some snacks/drinks? Please RSVP here if you think you can make it.

Brian and I can share what we remember from Drupalcon - any other topic ideas? Larry, have you played with VOIP Drupal or the SMS Framework modules at all? Interesting stuff - I'm setting up a sandbox on Pantheon to play with VOIP (though it's all D6 right now - there's a Google Summer of Code application for a D7 port).

Looking forward to the chatter...

Snacks and drinks are fine, pizza?

Folks can certainly bring snacks and drinks. If we got a good count we could consider pizza or something like that.

Let me know if anyone needs directions too.

Great meeting last night, thanks to everyone who stopped by (Larry, Terry, Brian, Travis, Dan and myself), and to Brian/9R for hosting us. 6 people might be a record, let's do even better next month!

Highlights for those who couldn't attend:

  • Drupalcon Denver recap from Brian and myself
  • great update from Terry on http://swconnect.org, RDFa, SPARQL, and MongoDB (separate project)
  • interesting discussion around VOIP Drupal services - it's clear that most of us need a primer from Larry!
  • general chat around Responsive design, Flex Slider, Omega and CSS3 media queries
  • as we trickled out, we also started to talk about editors/IDE's - there seems to be some consensus that a 'devops' focussed meeting would be useful for everyone

What else am I forgetting?

thanks again everybody!
-Benj
