User group meeting

In April's meeting, we tried something new; we worked in small groups to find and fix bugs in Drupal core and contributed modules. We found that we should have had a) devel versions of Drupal 6, 7 and perhaps 8 on our laptops and b) we should have pre-selected novice issues that offer good learning experiences for all. See:

We have created a Google doc of potential bugs that we can work on in our May meeting. Please contact us and we can invite you into that document.

We will be having groups of 2 or 3 working together, with the more junior folks with hands on the keyboard and the more senior folks guiding the way. This promises to be a great learning experience and very fulfilling to contribute back to the code base.

Location. We will be in Room II at the East Library.

Agenda. We all start gathering for informal conversion at 6:30 and we'll get down to it in earnest at 7 pm. The library closes at 9 pm, so we have a hard stopping point.
