It looks like this group is going to be the one to handle the various aspects of Drupal Meets Medicine & Health Care. Personally, I have been a computer consultant for many different types of medical practices over the last 12 years, but the area I have had the most involvement in is home health care. One of the things I would really like to do is to develop a program for home health care agencies that doesn't limit their choices on what they can do with technology. It seems that most software out there is like that right now.
So, what ideas does everyone else have for this group? Where would you like to see it head? What kinds of topics would you like to discuss?
Sreeram, I think it would be really helpful if you posted a bit about your work, ideas & vision for Drupal in the medical arena.

Could we change the topic to just Healthcare instead of Healthcare distributions? For now at least this is the only healthcare group on gdo and I'd prefer to keep it more general. Later, if there is a lot of activity, it could be broken up it up into more detailed topics like 'Distributions'.
I was a member of the previous (later deleted ) healthcare group, which had a few subscribers and there is some activity on this topic on the consulting email list (and I pointed them here), so I think there is interest and maybe with a single group we can get some momentum going.

I'd be happy for the change. I run a drupal based medical site for female health but it isnt specifically a distribution.
We have considered Drupal installs for the NHS in the UK but that is a long long way down the road.
