Hi,
I created three new menus and added to the three regions of preface (first, middle and last). If I logout these are not visible anymore. How can I make it visible to the anonymous visitor of my website? Same question about the Primary links.
Thanks,
Adrian

block settings
Hi Adrian,
it sounds like either permissions need to be adjusted or more likely, you need to adjust the setting of each of the blocks so they can be viewed by everyone.
If you go to the block settings for the menu, see what happens when you uncheck all the checkboxes under "Role specific visibility settings"
/admin/build/block/configure/menu_block/1
hope this helps,

problem with preface
Hi cc,
Bloc settings are correct. This is not the cause.
Both checkboxes were unchecked.
It is really bad to have no menus for anonymous. That means that public users cannot read a big part of the website as long as they have no account created.
This issue is really annoying! Any other idea?
Set the view options explicitly
I would check both the "anonymous users" and "authenticated users" in the block visibility settings. I have had trouble before of blocks not showing to anyone when the block has not been explicitly set to show to groups, so I always specify who can view blocks now too.
No positive effect
I checked both for all the preface blocks but it not helps.
Any other advice?
Also Having Problems with Preface
Hello, I am having a few problems with the preface area of Marina, the main one being that the block (containing my logo) should be shown in the Preface first area, and it works on some pages, on others I only get the alt text (I put the image as html in a block). I also can't get this block to center in the preface area. If I put it in Preface 1st or second, it aligns left, and if I put it in Preface 3rd, it aligns right. There are no other blocks in the Preface area.
Thanks for your help!
For centering Is making it
For centering
Is making it one region a consideration for you?
Maybe some empty blocks.
As far as it showing on some pages and not others anymore info.
Is it a different content type, other blocks, what's being used or going on.
Is it online?
Hi and thanks for your
Hi and thanks for your help!
The site is online: www.smartstyler.com
Making the preface area one region would work as a second option. I would like to have the preface last area as the login block, but somehow this is not working for me. I tried using your idea of an empty block, but it seems not to print it. The picture is in preface first, empty block in preface middle and login preface last. But still the login aligns to the center as if it were in preface middle (I double and triple checked that it is preface last :)
As for it not showing on some pages, I wish I could give you more info. When I click on the different items of the menu, the pages load and sometimes the logo shows, but sometimes the alt text shows and the picture doesn't load. I have been playing around with the local.css, so I probably screwed something up, but after comparing the style and local .css line for line, I can't find where I could have gone wrong. The block is set up to display on all pages, and for all user types.
I really appreciate your time!
