Hello all,

a tentative stab at organisation has resulted in a meetup at a new location!

We'll be meeting up at Sequence in Cardiff, to cover some ground in learning how Drupal contribution works, how we can get more involved in our favourite projects, and how we can share our ideas with the Drupal community.

Sequence can be found at: Fitzalan House, Fitzalan Place, Cardiff CF24 0EL. Here's a map showing the location. Parking wise, there are 5 parking spaces outside, there's some limited on street parking nearby (tickets might be required, but not sure because of the timing) and Knox Road car park is right next door. It's also just around the corner from Queen Street station.

So, hope to see you there - bring a laptop if you have the chance to!

Hi,

Just joined the drupal S Wales group. I've been building and administering two drupal sites for the company I work for and am looking to move into doing more development (just started the 'Learning Drupal 6 Module Development' packt ebook!)

Would this meetup be for more advanced users?

Absolutely not, do come along!

Even if you're not at the point where you're contributing code, we'll be talking about good practices to have, and module development, and there's plenty you can do besides code - testing patches, documentation, reporting bugs correctly - they're all really important in the scheme of things. And if nothing else, you can meet some other Drupal developers, and see what tips they can offer ;-)

For those who've subscribed and haven't noticed - there's a revised date for this meetup. It's now Tues April 24th, not Thurs April 26th, as originally advertised. You can blame the management @Sequence if you like ;-)
