Hi TriDUG,
CityCamp Raleigh is right around the corner, June 1-3 - http://citycampral.org/. You can attend on either Friday, Saturday, or Sunday or make a weekend out of it. It's free! What is CityCamp? We gather citizens, developers, and city staff to figure out ways to improve our quality of life through technology. It's like a BarCamp with a civic twist.
And that means we need some smart technical folks like yourselves. You'll meet some awesome people and you could win $5000 for your idea/prototype. We are looking for people to pitch workshops at Saturday's unconference.
We need folks to register so we can plan appropriately. Here are some ways that you can help out and get started:
- Register - http://citycampral.org/register/
- Submit your ideas for "unconference" sessions - http://www.google.com/moderator/#15/e=1fd592&t=1fd592.40&f=1fd592.65c7f9...
- Share the event with your friends, co-workers, neighbors.
If you have any questions, please let me know. Thanks for your time, have a great weekend.
Regards,
