This isn't strictly Drupal related but I just wanted to toss out a few links to Open Source software to automate radio stations:

Rivendell

We tried using Rivendell at RRC a few weeks back, and the performance was a bit sluggish- we were running our music library off a USB drive though, and Rivendell only works with uncompressed audio. They are working on getting OGG support running, and development is quite active, so we might try it in the future.
