For example,
A Omega subtheme has Narrow and Normal layouts enabled.
Narrow responds to typical tablet window, such as iPad .
Normal responds to typical desktop window size.
When browsing it in iPad portrait view, Narrow layout is displayed. For some users, they still want to see normal desktop layout.
Is there a way to allow user choose which layout to be applied in Omega Framwork. Providing a link to let user switch back/forth.
(just like how ESPN does, attached screenshot)

I agree that many times the desktop version seems most appropriate on smaller screens. There are a number of js and jQuery switchers. I don't know the best way to accomplish with Omega, but it should be reasonably straight forward.
