Next Portland Business Summit Meeting
I just wanted to remind everyone we will be having our next meeting this coming Wednesday, July 11 at 6pm at OpenSourcery so it coincides with the Group meetup.
I'll send out a reminder next week with an agenda and call in number.
Change of next meeting
We are announcing this idea at Group meetup tomorrow at 6pm at OpenSourcery. We will not have a meeting after that.
Instead, our first official meeting will be Tuesday, July 17 at 4pm with the call in number 1-712-432-2807, then enter the following ID when prompted: 925-367-448.
We'll plan on weekly meetings, same time same number.
We welcome everyone to participate.

Summit process
Mandy, could you please point me to the public conversation that I missed re: the rescheduling of this Summit planning meeting?
If I missed an email/survey asking the community to reschedule from this week to next, apologies. However, in the absence of requesting a change, I'm curious about the decision to reschedule this meeting.
There were a number of participants invited to the initial Summit organizing call - and they were polled to find availability prior to that call. The purpose in having this next Summit organizing meeting in conjunction with this week's meet-up was to give the community as a whole the opportunity to establish a committee, process, and schedule - as part of an open and regularly scheduled community event.
What's the current process for setting these meetings? As a participant in the initial organizing meeting, I'm curious who the "we" is in the statement "We'll plan on weekly meetings, same time same number."
It feels as if process has been circumvented here (though I'm sure that if that was the case, it was a simple oversight made in good faith by folks who do want community engagement). And again, I could be wrong and I'm happy to eat a little crow if I missed something.
Thank you in advance for any follow-up that you can provide.
Cheers,
Sean Larkin
