Our Last Workshop
Our last workshop we went through "Out of the Box" Drupal. That means that nothing was added to Drupal and you saw an empty shell. You need to learn what Drupal is with nothing added. I have been through a lot of books and videos and one point I think they miss is learning what you have when you are starting off with Drupal because when you start adding Articles, Basic Pages and Modules, things change in hurry. We added a modules last meeting after we covered "Drupal Out of the Box" and saw some of those changes.
This week we will be working with Taxonomy, Vocabulary and Terms since it is one of the bases for the structure of building a website using Drupal.
We will talk about Categories: Taxonomy, Vocabulary and Terms. Taxonomy is the science of naming and classifying things. Inside of Drupal the term “Taxonomy” refers to any form of organization based on terms, the vocabularies they compose, and any hierarchical structuring of them.
