Hi Pacifica Drupalers,
Thanks for registering. I have been pretty busy but here is a short wiki on what we can do to improve Drupal Pacifica. Remember its your group so it must reflect your ideas.
On the Drupal Front, I am pretty interested in Blogging and Social Networking. For blogging, I am still stuck in Wordpress and find it most convenient for that purpose. Having said that, I have yet to explore the Drupal Blogging capabilities. But on the Social Networking front, I have been a bit more excited. I set up one such site for Solomon Islanders on http://www.lifhaus.com.sb, membership is slowly growing but I have yet to see the kinds of activities I envision should be happening on the site. Did read up Social Networks: Examples and Best Practises from Smashing Magazine which is a great read and ideas for me on my quest to enhance Lifhaus. I am truly excited about the potential of Drupal as a social networking tool.
As I said, this is a wiki so you can suggest and add to this wiki.
