Events happening in the community are now at Drupal community events on www.drupal.org.

This is a work in progress. I've assigned a few people to lead other sessions who I think understand the topic. PLEASE change, add new sessions suggestions or your name to an existing suggestion with an indication if you'd be willing to lead/co-lead or are interested in attending and hoping someone else will lead. - Kevin

The Community Media Phenomena (30 min)
This Community Media Drupal Camp is part of a trajectory that began with MNN's first work in Drupal six years ago, the Open Media Project's Knight Foundation work, and all the subsequent development that can loosely described as the Community Media Phenomena. In March 2012 in Austin, TX, the Community Media Drupal Summit convened. One of the direct results was the creation of the Community Media Starter Kits. This session lead by Stefan Wray and others will provide an overview and context for framing the discussions and work sessions taking place at today's CMDC.

Learning to commit w/ Git and Features (1 hr) - Moving from open source use to contributor... it's not easy, but not as hard as it used to be. Without people who are passionate about the reason the code is written involved, modules stagnate. Git and Features has lowered the bar to getting involved. Follow the example of Jason Daniels w/ the Easy Starter Kit and Stefan Wray w/ the Community Media Profile and take your involvement in a piece of the code you or your organization want to see work well for everyone.

CiviMail (30 min)
- Emily Frazier (lead)
- Jason Haven (interested)

Customizing Show Submission Form w/ Metadata, Create Commons Licensing, Printable Show Form (1 hr)
- Jason Haven (lead)
- Craig Sinclair (co-lead)
- Stefan Wray (interested)

Media (1 hr) - An over view of the Media 2.x module and the various provider modules (YouTube, Vimeo, BlipTV, Archive, Cloudcast (formally PEG.tv)) including configuring feeds using the Community Media VOD Feed module.
- Kevin Reynen (lead)
- Jason Haven (interested)

Reservation API (1 hr)
- Stefan Wray (lead... I will go over the MNN changes on 7/29)
- Jason Haven (interested)

CiviCRM Multiday Event (30 min) - This is a new module, but well tested and documented... but there are still open issues and improvements that can be made to the documentation
- Craig Synclair (lead... Stefan and I will go over this with you on 7/29)
- Jason Haven (interested)

Define Process for Documenting Playback Server Integration (1 hr) - Different stations have implemented different levels of integration with Telvue, Cablecast, Leightronix, Synergy, and Cinegy, but this isn't documented well. This still requires custom code and/or configuration at each location. We do not have enough time to cover every option for every playback vendor. This is also DIFFICULT. Playback server integration is not something stations should even attempt until they feel comfortable supporting the modules in the EASY and MODERATE start kits themselves OR they contracts to support this.
- Kevin Reynen (lead)
- Jason Haven (interested - Telvue)
- Jason Liggett (intereest - Leightronix and JUpload)

Updating Documentation for Starter Kits (2 hrs) - PLEASE don't plan to leave until anything you learned is documented so these camps benefit more than the people who attend, BUT feel free to explain to anyone who didn't attend that they need get involved too.
