Greetings

Events happening in the community are now at Drupal community events on www.drupal.org.

Thanks for creating this group Mike. I saw your talk at CapitalCamp and I thought it was good. I'm at NIST and it's looking like we're going to jump into the Drupal world. I've set up a pilot project to get a sense of what we'll need to tweak and what we like. I'm fairly new to Drupal myself but have launched 1.75 clients sites before coming here. I'm excited to get into more development and especially along the lines of making government websites more open and flexible. Anyway, thanks again.

Hi John, great to have as part of the group! Would love to hear how the process goes and your successes/challenges implementing a government site with Drupal.

If you haven't seen it, check out the list of modules contributed by other agencies (http://drupal.org/node/1497356). There's some good stuff there aimed at the unique requirements of government websites.

John, You may already know,

John,
You may already know, we are using Drupal at the Department level in a small office specializing in web solutions. Feel free to reach out to us for anything Drupal. I spoke with Sherwin, Gary and Joe on the phone the other day about the NIST pilot program.

Yep, I was supposed to be on that call, but I have contracted some sort of nasty summer cold. They sent me your notes though. Thanks for the offer, I've mostly been exploring the author/editor UI in response to some concerns from our editorial team.
