Since I had a training a few weeks ago with this excellent instructor, I felt impelled to get online and say that I would like to recommend him wholeheartedly to anyone learning how to use Drupal. His instruction helped me get started and learn the necessary foundation needed to continue my learning. Doug provides excellent examples and is an exemplar of quality service. If you're looking for someone to provide this service, he's it! We're very fortunate to have people like Vann in the Drupal community. :).

That's QUITE the endorsement! I'm glad you found it worthwhile.
For the sake of those who don't know what she's talking about... Gwyn and I spent nearly three hours on Skype a few weeks ago. I walked her through a lot of the basics of Drupal. I can't recall at this time what all we covered but I remember blocks, regions, config pages, and some CCK and Views in there as well.
She shot me a small fee through paypal and I provided the training along with a sandbox server for showing off Drupal.
I have high rates that I give when companies have asked for pricing, but since I sat at my desk in my house in my pajamas, I just went low-dough with it.
