DrupalCamp North West is coming to Media City - Salford, Manchester 24th-25th November 2012. This is an ideal opportunity for anyone interested in or using Drupal to gather with like minded people, hear others present sessions and generally enjoy collaborating in a relaxed manner for a fun packed weekend.
Where?
In partnership with Salford University we have secured a prestigious venue in the heart of MediaCityUK. To be held in purpose built conferencing facilities with modern high specification lecture theatres and breakout rooms, DrupalCamp NW will be unmissable. Why not try a Virtual Tour of venue to get a taste of what to expect.
Format
The Saturday will feature two session tracks, speakers will be invited to propose sessions soon. Sunday will be less formal, run as an unconference where any attendee can propose a subject on which to form small discussion groups.
More information
Please visit the DrupalCamp North West web site. If you are interested in attending, speaking, sponsoring or volunteering please sign up to the DrupalCamp NW emailing list to receive an alert when the official site goes live. You can also follow @DrupalCampNW.
Who's behind DrupalCamp NW?
Access Advertising, Livelink New Media and Ixis have joined forces to plan the camp, however we encourage other individuals and business to become involved.

Great work to all involved!!
Great work to all involved!! We'll hopefully have a couple of us coming down despite being awfully close to Sao Paulo! The North has missed a camp for some time. Will promote in the North East and would be very interested in the learning from DCNW as we're considering one over in the NE next year!
Great news and look forward to further updates.

Payment
Website looks great...but I'd rather not enter my credit card details into a random website if I don't fully trust it, and frankly I don't fully trust it. Is there another way I can pay?
meh
No there's not an alternative payment method. Just don't bother going maybe if it's a trust thing?
It's not that I don't trust
It's not that I don't trust the people organising the camp. but I don't really trust putting sensitive data in as many websites as possible, I just wanted to know that my CC details weren't going to be stored. I could guess that the site admins wouldn't have set things up that way, but it's not explicitly stated.

Having been contacted by the peeps behind the website, CC information is just sent to SagePay, and is not stored anywhere else. Happy days.
