As far as I know the only UK Drupal meet-up appears to be in London. I've seen a few mentions of Drupal users being based in the midlands and north of the UK but wondered how many would actually be interested in a regular Drupal North meet-up?
Is Manchester central enough for such an event? It could be piggy backed on the existing web developer group meeting in the city centre.

I'm based in Leeds, and so wouldn't be able to make a regular meet-up. However I would be able to occasionally make it over if there's something interesting being talked about.
York
I'm in York, but would happily travel to Leeds for a meetup. Manchester's a bit far for me though.

Leeds
I can offer my place as a venue for Leeds + York people to meet - (as long as its only a handful of people).
It would be good to meet up.
I'm in Headingley, Leeds.
Let me know if you're interested and we'll try for a date.

We're in North East Wales, so Liverpool or Manchester would be great for us. We can travel further afield for any major meets tho.
Yip!
Hi Budda, yip I'd be up for this, in fact I posted on drupal.org.uk back in November but had no response so I assumed most folks were too busy or whatever. I'm thinking it'd be good to just to get on with it even if there's only a few people to start with, start out low key, meet somewhere with wifi and decent coffee/beer and just publicise it.
