Migrating Omega Sub-Theme to Another Site

Events happening in the community are now at Drupal community events on www.drupal.org.

I've created an Omega sub-theme on my development machine and I'm looking to migrate it up to my production site. With other themes, all I've done is to copy the theme files to the production site via FTP. But I recall reading, with Omega, that much of the theme settings are kept in the database, making my previous method impractical.

Is there documentation available for this migration process? I'd appreciate some pointers to it if its available or instructions from other Omega users if it is not.

Sounds like a job for Omega Tools. http://drupal.org/project/omega_tools

Install it on your dev site or where ever you made all the configuration. Then you can download/export the theme and it's settings. After, upload and enable the theme on the site you want to use it on.
