As discussed on [pan-india IRC chat on 2012-09-27, where the following items were proposed:
1) Conduct Drupal day on 14th Oct to invite participation in Local chapters
2) Pull in as many corporates & developers within community for this day
3) Also list out a set of action items that the local chapters want to act on
4) Select 2 or more regional representatives
On this context, lets meet on Oct 14 at Bangalore as well.

Based on IRC chat on Oct 11 @ 15.00 attended by anilsagar,chakri,saitanay the following has been proposed as the schedule of the meet:
10 : 10 - 15 AM , Introduction of attendees
10 : 15 -- 11 AM , [Session] Intro To Drupal
11 -- 11 : 15 , Break
11 : 15 to 12 PM , [Session] Setting up Multilingual Site
12 : 00 to 12 : 15, [Session] Drush
12 : 15 to remaining time -- Electing Regional Representatives..
Some pointers about electing reps for the region:
1. Not more than one representative from a Company
2. Minimum two maximum three representative from region
3. Representatives will be changed every year
4. ELECTED Representatives can not participate again for 1 year (ie 1 more elections)

We are awaiting formal confirmation from FSMK, which we expect in a few hours. Will be updating the same on receipt of the confirmation.
Regarding the capabilities of the venue:

We had 23 attendees. The venue can accomodate upto 35-40 people. Has Projector and a good internet connectivity. We can even extend that to have a wifi if needed,

GDO should be the primary platform for Drupal Activities
Hello all,
I think the event should be merged. FSMK office is great place. They have agreed to confirm it by tomorrow.
Also lets all try to use the drupal GDO as the primary source for hosting any event. Additionally we might list in meetup and so for publicity, but from our last experience we had nice response from GDO and other forums.

Hi Tanay,
I just had a word with Jacob Singh. He is going to be in the city too for the OSI Days on 12-14th October 2012. He asked if we could try shifting the October 14th event to the OSI days. He could try getting us a room there.
The location is good at NIMHANS convention center. And it could get some more crowd to whom we can spread the message too.
Plus, we could get one amazing speaker "Jacob" in our midst. This would be awesome as Jacob is in the process of moving to Bangalore and could be helping us out in terms of the workings of a Drupal community.

Having Jacob Singh on board will be a great thing! We had a chance to interact with him during Drupal Camp Deccan - Hyderabad in 2011 and it was a great experience.

I think OSI will be good
I have a pass to OSI, but my question is will it restrict people without OSI pass from reaching out there? If so it will be bad.

Venue Confirmed.
FSMK people have contacted us and confirmed with us that the venue is confirmed on October 14 from morning 10 AM to 3:30PM. Projector will be provided. Upto 45 people can easily be accommodated in the hall.
They have recommended the presenters to use linux as the OS, as a token of support for the moment and that will also enable them to publish the event pictures in their sites etc.

Hi Guys & Gals,
It was nice meeting all of you. And yes finally getting to meet Safwan, Tanay, Chakrapani. It was nice seeing a lot of enthusiastic members without whom any community is not possible.
Really looking forward to all the activities and events that this community offers to Bangalore.
Lets grow from being just a crowd / audience to becoming an active and alive community that anyone would love to party with.
A general appeal to all the other members, please support these representatives by taking up some of their work and sharing the burden. This way everyone will get to do some interesting work and we can have a good performance from our reps too (they should not burn out.)
