This is a public hangout that will focus on helping those interested in Sass and Compass getting "up and running". There will be lots of screen sharing and many opportunities to ask questions. GNU/Linux, Mac and Windows users are welcome, although I personally only use Ubuntu I think we can figure it out for other OSes as well. Especially if some others attend as well!

We will also cover Live Reload setup since it runs hand in hand with Sass/Compass compilation.

This was sparked my lightning talk at the Princeton Drupal User Group Meetup - (http://groups.drupal.org/node/259658#comment-834968)

P.S. #0 Make sure you can upload at at least 1 Mbps for a good experience (http://www.speedtest.net), plus get a headset otherwise your speakers will feed back into your mic making for an infinite loop!

P.S. #1 Hangouts are limited to 10 participants. If the RSVP list reaches that make sure you are on time to get in. If not just wait it out and keep trying. The hangout will go for 3 hours so I would think there will be a slot open eventually (if it is even full).

Hi,

I, too, am running ubuntu 12.04. I'd like to compile the css of my current ("broken") theme, push to my host, drush cc, & see if my theme works... Ha ha ha. Easier said than done.

I have compass installed correctly, but am unsure if i need other "helper" modules like basic, bourbon, or radix.

Can I compile css locally for a pre-existing theme, then push the processed css?

I am working on the @getpantheon hosting platform. This was communicated to me as theirj preferred method.

Any tutorial or installation help would be greatly appreciated.

I would be glad to provide any screenshots or login access for collaboration.

Thanks
