Simpletest and CCK types

Hey all,

Ive been exploring the wonderful Drupal framework for some weeks now, been reading alot about modules, module development and theming. In the last few weeks i have developed some small modules that i want to test using the Simpletest module.
Ive read the documentation and the tutorial to get some sense of how to set up Simpletest for my modules. So i thought i would start by making some functional tests for my custom CCK types. So far i haven't had much luck, ive been wrestling Simpltest for a while now and its not returning the love so far :P

Anway ive posted my efforts on the Forum (http://drupal.org/node/569946) in hopes of solving the issue and preventing others from struggling with it. Since most of the Drupal sites use CCK i thought there would be alot of documentation on it, sadly that is not the case. There's a lot to read on how to setup test nodes but now how to get CCK types working. Since there isn't any documentation on it im planning to write some that's geared towards all the people that finished the tutorial. I hope to get it added to the tutorial but first i need to get it working myself. Anyone willing to share help me out? any help on this matter will be greatly appreciated!
