Presented by Bruce Caron of NASA Science on Drupal Central. Description reproduced here in toto, just because it's brief:
Science is Better on Drupal!
Come to science on Drupal to talk about Drupal as a platform that supports science, from digital laboratory notebooks, to shared workflows, collaboration environments, data exploration tools, publication streams, and reputation systems.
Bruce Caron, who is the PI on a newly funded project: NASA Science on Drupal Central, will be leading the conversation, and is looking to build a network of Drupalistas who are also scientists, or who work with science communities. There is a movement to create a science on Drupal strand at the next DrupalCon.
So come and share, come to network, and come to learn.
If you're a member of this group going to BADCamp, please attend Bruce's session and spread the word on Science Applications!

Topics to cover at this session...
If you are working on science modules or features in Drupal and cannot make it to BADCamp, let me know if there is a topic you would like to have discussed, and I will try to add this to the conversation and get notes back to the web.
Also, if you are interested in a Science on Drupal strand at the Portland DrupalCon, let me know, so I can get some good numbers to give to Drupal.org.
thanks!
Bruce Caron
Also looking for people who might be able to present at DrupalCon...
