Hi Seattle Group,
Just posted a showcase article about our Drupal 6 site, www.raceonedesign.com. The site is a community site for one design sailboat racers in North America, and provides wind forecasts, how-to articles with both wiki and byline administration features, classified ads, blog aggregation, extensive use of mapping, and other features important to sailors in North America.
The site was built by two sailors (and stay-at-home dads) in Seattle & Tacoma in the evenings and weekends. We're still in the early stage of building out our content base and our community, and welcome any feedback or questions about our site! And now that our kids have longer school days, we're actually looking for some contract Drupal dev work--we have a ton of experience building custom modules & themes.
We haven't been real active in the Seattle group because of our super limited hours and schedules being dictated by our 3 year olds' naps, but I'm planning to be at the September DUG meeting and hope to meet some of you. And just back from Drupalcon in Paris, which was amazing!
