While nutch is a great tool for indexing the web the greatest bottleneck is the cost burdened to individual users. I think a tool such as yacy compliments drupal better as it allows for distributed crawling and indexing among many separately owned servers.

What does YacY have that is better than Nutch? How does it compare in the quality of search results?

and while downloading , i watch the video in yacy , great , easy to install but powerful enough
nutch is a little bit for me to install and seems that nutch must plus solr ....another monster , too hard to install
hope that drupal will have a module correlate to yacy
