101 Walter Library, Twin Cities East Bank
Update
Due to a scheduling conflict, we're moving the originally-planned topic—using Drupal in the managed virtual server environment available through OIT—to our March meeting.
Instead, Link Swanson will debut a presentation he is developing for the Library Technology Conference titled "Drupal helps you create great web apps, fast!" which will be an introduction/best practices for using fields and views as the basis for your applications. He notes, "It's geared toward a non-Drupal audience, but I think it would benefit many in our group, too."
We'll also take some time for updates on Drupal-related projects already underway.
Since it's over the noon hour, feel free to bring a lunch or beverage.
Note that I had some trouble securing 101 Walter for a good date in January, thus the February date for getting back on track with meetings.

Great topic!
I've worked in OIT's "swadm" universe on a virtual server, but with a different CMS. I think it's a great thing for the Drupal community here at the U to be able to run a Drupal server under these conditions, and not having to resort to the fully-unmanaged virtual environment OIT offers.
