I'd like to propose Cambridge, UK, for a DrupalCon.
It's a university town with over a thousand years of geek credibility, has great transport links, and is big enough to accommodate a DrupalCon, but small enough to make it feel like Drupal Town once we're all there - I really liked that aspect of Szged. Also it's an interesting place that overseas Drupal people will want to visit, and close enough to London to easily make day trips to the capital.
I think the UK Drupal community can put together something for 2011, but I think we'll do a much better job if we aim for 2012 instead.

Cambridge
or Oxford sound great. I would like to meet at such a historical place as a UK university. And you have so many of them. :-) I once spent a week at Canterbury as a student years ago.
So even though Cambridge won the poll, it is not proposing?
I realised last year that Manchaster has a fine Drupal community.
So many places to chose from. :-)
Good luck
