Hello everyone,
I think it is time we start planning for DrupalCamp Lagos 2013.
Kudos to @chillpill, @badesemowo, @imasuen and everyone that made DrupalCamp Lagos 2011 a great success. We should start planning early for the event this year. All suggestions and ideas would be great.
Let's start by picking a date. Sometimes in the middle of the year would be ok. I am not part of the organisers. This is just an humble opinion.

Same thing i said...
We have to do something about evangelising Drupal in Nigeria. We could not hold a single Drupalcamp in Nig in 2012 but we can do it this year. Let's start seting up a working team that will drive it. The time to start is now! Am available at www.drupalveristy.com.ng

Having DrupalCamp will be splendid here in Nigeria. I think it's about time. Drupal is big in the US and a well sort out skill. Why not here in Nigeria.

Hello team,
Let me start by congratulating all those who ensured that the first drupal association meeting held in 2012 at sabo yaba - Lagos was a reality. Talk is cheap, but these individuals made it happen and can do it again and again.
I was present to witness the making of history, as the hall was filled with so many young, vibrant and industrious IT practitioners who also wanted to be part of the new beginning. It was superb and I really enjoyed every moment of it…
We can start now by setting up various organizing committees of people, who will be willing to deliver DrupalCamp Lagos 2013 to Nigerians in order to keep the ball rolling to sustain what we started in 2012 and take it to the next level.

Lets set up preliminary meeting
A preliminary meeting is needed at this point to articulate the agenda and deliverable strategies for NijaDrupalCamp2013. A Place and venue can be arranged...i think CoCreation at Yaba is still ok. Am very willing to participate in any way. Please lets get together for the love of Drupal!
Great Idea!
I have been into Drupal for quite a while now. My one long time wish has always been to network with like-mind Drupal practitioners from around the world. But since I can't attend any of those well organized and advertised DrupalCons and DrupalCamps elsewhere around the world I can make do with one right here in my backyard.
I will be great to see this idea realized. While I may have a wealth of Drupal knowledge I am willing to share at such an occasion, I am not much of an organizer. But I will support whichever ideas others come up with and do my best to contribute.
I believe there are potentials to revolutionize Nigeria with Drupal similar to what Acquia is doing in US and other western countries.

Lets Pick A Tentative Date And Venue For A Preliminary Meeting
I suggest we get started by first reaching some initial definite decisions. We can start by suggesting choices of a date and a venue for the preliminary meeting as stated above. Then we can debate it here, each can second a suggestion or put forward an alternative until we reach a common choice then we can formally announce it.
At the meeting we can then articulate the agenda and make other decisions for the DrupalCamp Lagos 2013.
So to flag this off am suggesting a date of Saturday 30th of March 2013 for the preliminary meeting and any venue anyone else will suggest.
Action time folks! What do you think?...

Drupal to kick off "Audax Lecture Series"
Hi All,
I've been reading the comments here for a while & I'm terribly sorry for not actively participating. There is a saying that says (LOL!!!) "talk because you have something to say, not because you have to say something!" (I wonder what it is with me & "say").
Drawing on the lessons learned from 2011 (over-planning kills), we (at Audax) are pleased to announce a Drupal meetup, training/networking session in Lekki in about 2 weeks, as the 1st topic/subject of our relevant, practical, IT-focussed, "Audax Lecture Series".
This will hold on Wednesday 13th of March, 2013 at Audax Solutions, Plot 24, Block 113, Lekki Phase 1, Lagos.
