Methods for displaying Repeat Date?

Events happening in the community are now at Drupal community events on www.drupal.org.

I'm working with Date API, Date Repeat API, and Views in this Drupal 7 site. I have classes (part of the Events calendar) with repeating dates. In other words, so classes happen once, other happen every Wednesday at 3pm, etc.

Using Views, I display all the events, from the upcoming first, to the furthest out. The classes which only occur once display their event time; however, the classes which have repeating dates, display the start date, instead of the date of the NEXT instance.

In Views, I have a Filter set to display events that start after 12AM Today, however it still displays the start date (first repeated instance) instead of the next instance. I've looked into Date Repeat Instance (module) but didn't have success -- I'm not sure what tools I need at this point.

I need to display the NEXT instance date, not the first instance date. Does anyone have any experience with this? (Oh, and I also need the aged or past classes to not show up, similar to how the shows in the calendar stop display after their time has passed.)
