Sorry all - I've been on the road and lost track of time. Technically, this coming Monday is the 2nd Monday of the month (we discussed using that schedule to be more reliable). However, until now no notice has gone out and I haven't lined up a location.

I'd like to recommend that we adjust 1 week back this month, and do the meetup on Monday, March 18th at 6:30 instead. Does that work for everyone?

We have 3 needs for this to happen:

  1. People to be able to come (obviously!)
  2. A place to host
  3. Presentations*

If you can help out with any of those three, respond as soon as possible!

  • I recently heard an idea on meetup presentations I'd like to try. To spark interest and exposure as well as keep it easy for folks to get involved, I'd like to suggest we try to split our presentation time up into multiple smaller presentations; dive in to a module and give a quick overview of it, talk about your favorite git branching strategy or graphic design resources, etc. I can volunteer to give a quick overview of doing SSO in Drupal with Bakery, so that's one. Maybe one or two more?

Use second driveway on right after Arch St. Park in lot, main entrance is towards the left end of the tall building.

I'm sure we'll do something for food.

Princeton Group's format is a big presentation, followed by 2 or 3 5-minute lightning talks.

I volunteer to do a 5-10 minute on Compass and SASS for managing CSS. I learned about it during the same type of presentation and would be happy to show how I'm using it.

I think I know where that is.
